The tail lights on my '81 rabbit are missing one of the lenses for the white reverse light, and the other one is loose (just can pull it off with my hands.) Anyone know why they made them that way and how I can attach the one so it doesn't fall off? (I assume I will have to hunt around for a used part to replace the left side one, which is missing.)

they were glued in sections...not uncommon to see the amber lens fall off either.

I may have a clean light assembly I would be willing to part with. message me if interested.
