I see that Front Seals are available for my ‘84 Vanagon Front Windows , but not with the ability to reuse my Chrome/Garnish Style trim that goes outside of it.
Are the Original seals NLA and this is all that’s easy or affordable to buy?

Seems to still be available.
Here's a quick find on google:
https://www.buslab.com/255-845-121-p/255845121.htm
Need to look for vendors that don't have an emphasis on the late model Vanagons.
You'll need plastic chrome and chrome clips. I have not done this yet - it's on my list.

Thank you, had forgotten about Bus Lab as a supplier...
Looks like it’s more expensive to piece together than the non-chrome/alloy seal kits as a whole, and then there’s the trim and clips as you noted...
Adds up... _________________ '68 Westy- my first VW and vehicle/Bus- long gone.- sold it to a traveling Swiss couple....

It's true - the chrome mouldings add up because they are not as popular. A lot of people get rid of the chrome to "modernize" their van or to save money. Nothing wrong with that route. It depends on what you want your van to look like. Me - I like my 82 being an eighties van and so I plan on doing the old style. _________________ 1982 Diesel Westfalia 1.6 NA - The Shellakabuukiee |

I’ll call them tomorrow and see how much a full kit runs for both front windows with everything _________________ '68 Westy- my first VW and vehicle/Bus- long gone.- sold it to a traveling Swiss couple....
