Try this perhaps
https://www.chromelondon.com/
He has been doing a free worldwide delivery recently for complete sets, but I'm sure he could source a genuine faceplate ?
I fitted a Blaupunkt to mine from him in my 66, and it's great

The correct faceplate is lightly different.
The photos by Murt are not 100% correct.
Taking a look at parts 7,8 and 9 in the image at the bottom:
1) you need TWO parts, the faceplate (part 9, chromed, visible on dashboard) AND the mounting plate (part 8, between radio body and the rear of dashboard.) This is the correct spacing and part 8 is the component that interferes with the 4 small "wings" of the radio opening
2) both mounting plate and faceplate should be angled; this to have a well visible display and, especially, to make radio body not interfering with windshield wiper
3) there are 2 types of blaupunkt faceplate, according to 2 different height of memory buttons. In the link I posted faceplate is for high buttons, your radio has lower buttons.
4) you need the couple of cylindrical spacers (parts 7)

The faceplate in the Murt picture is more at home in a '68 and up, as an insert to another metal part placed in the padded dash opening. Works similarly in a Type 3. Herbie1200 has it right. There is also a version of faceplate part #9 which has nubs at the left and right ends....which provide continuity of the dashboard molding strip. _________________ "Criticism comes easier than Craftsmanship"

Hi chaps
I wasn’t saying mine was right/correct etc, and frankly don’t care if it is, I think it looks OK in mine, and I am happy with it
I was replying with a link to somebody who may help find the correct face plate for the radio Mr PPGE01 was asking about. I saw he was doing an offer on international shipping and thought it might be of use. The guy who owns the store is very helpful indeed, his name is Mike Seer, and was extremely helpful when I bought the ‘Mannheim ‘ from him, he also does online chat and stuff
Either way I hope ppge01, finds something suitable

With your radio only the first item is correct. You have slim buttons, the second item is for fat buttons... look at the relative heights between upper and lower openings, they are different in the two links. |

Does anyone know how long the cylindrical spacers (#7) shown on the illustration are? |
