I hope this is in the right place. My set up is lowered in the front by drop spindles and a set of firestone f560 145r14s, that was fitted about 1 yr ago. Took it to an alignment shop and they found no issues and adjusted the alignment. My problem is that now that the passenger tire is wearing far more substantial than the drivers side. Also the one that is wearing seams to be bald on the top outside and less on the bottom outside.
I called the alignment shop and they told me with an older vehicle they try to just get it in spec, rather than making it perfect like a newer vehicle. I don't feel like it would cause too much of an issue though. I am guessing this isn't normal. Seems like a toe issue to me, but i could be wrong. Anyone ever have a similar issue with a similar set up? |

Sounds like the "tire shop" figured out a way to sell more tires. |

What kind of beam? Did they only check toe? Dont like their answer. In spec is in spec so I dont follow the perfect analogy. |

I agree. Tire shops don't train with bugs- and none of their employees drive them (just JDM stuff). Take it to a proper VW mechanic.
I reread your post 5 times and don't understand what you mean by "top outside" and "bottom outside." Your tires roll, right? If so- each half revolution becomes the other "outside." So what do you mean? _________________
