Who do you all use for insurance?
Hagerty, my usual collector insurance choice, does not insure dune buggys.

Thanks!

Hagerty will insure dune buggies. But they have to be verified Meyers Manx dune buggies. Both our Manxter and original Manx are insured with them. Tom

Len,
Did you have to call them to insure it as a dune buggy? I didn't see that option when filling out the form for a quote.

For the American and Progressive policies, what kind of rates are you getting, if you don't mind the ask?

About 85$ a month. They would allow me to drop liability during the off season, but if there is a nice midwinter day....

Thanks for the info. I'll just give them a call.

I went with Antique tags here in PA.

Thanks again

Len,
I do have regular Liability insurance right now just so I am able to drive it on the road legally. I didn't bring my registration to work with me today so I'll call them tonight and get it.

I got my buggy insured as a dune buggy through American Collectors. Thanks for the tip Len.

I got $11,000 agreed coverage for $154.85 per year. They seem like nice people to deal with.

Rally gave me an unbelieveably low quote along with paperwork to re-title my buggy as a Beatle. WTF? I wrote back explaining it's not a Beatle anymore and re-sent the pic of my buggy. They did not respond.
