For Volkswagen 1500 Type 3 and 1600. The Accessory Seat Recliner by HULS. Whats that then? Two NOS Boxed Drivers, one opened driver and two Passenger and Driver sets. Thats a shit ton of HULS all in one place at one time.

I was actually thinking the same thing.
It's the best shape and trim I've seen. It actually compliments the lines of the
car instead of insulting them. _________________ '66 Type 1 in Sea Sand (SOLD)

Was able to locate the last missing tool in the rectangle box. It was the hex tool found in a VW basic kit. It must be a one year and or limited piece as most people have never seen it.
Thanks to Douglas Mcguire off FB!

I don't know. Its like 27mm? The gen nut on a T3 is 21 I believe. Is there a big gen nut on any ACVW in the late 60's early 70's when this came out? _________________

What I do know.
This rectangle was an optional accessory listed in the VWoA catalog from 69 to 72. Prior to this was the Hazet round and after was the STAHLWille tool roll.
So what the heck VW came with it from 69 to 72? _________________

Kai, you know I secretly want to be you some day
I think those vent covers are getting rare. Only because they are a love it or leave it accessory like the pedal cover, visor and rear vent covers on a SB. _________________

well, I do see them for sale. the thing about them is that they don't work for early cars. You can't open the hood with them on
they work on late cars, but type 3 guys with money to spend on accessories have early cars
hold on to them and they will be rare someday _________________ Stop dead photo links! Post your photos to The Samba Gallery! |

Funny you say that, because the instructions do mention that after you install them, you have to raise the hood slowly and reposition the scoops so the hood can open freely. _________________ Insta: @kaiscollectionvt

Says here the big nut tool is for a worm gear adjustment?
The big hex socket in the top tray was used to adjust the worm-and-roller steering boxes (did not work for Super Beetle, which came out in 1971).

The pic is just of a tool box like mine - not the nut being used or anything cool like that. Im not saying this is true - but its more than nothing. _________________

This is interesting- I have the same kit missing that tool as well. Don't you need 2 tools to adjust steering-box? This may fit the nut but the kit doesn't seem to have anything to adjust the hex nut thing in the center?
