I have seen a few versions of these? One had just a name writtin on the rubber part and a VW emblem? I forget the name. This one has the 111 301 251 part number so I am thinking beetle? split beetle? Is that correct for a crashbox? Tim

The part number is a bit of a giveaway!

It begins 111 - Standard model Type 1.

German Krew, yes, sorry I forgot to ask you if it was ok to use the pic you had in the gallery! Yours has a name on it. This one has the VW part number. So I guess it is correct for a split beetle. What years does this cover? Maybe 1947 to 1952???

The one with the spare number was made after 1955, and all this kind of hangers are good up to Sept. 1952.
