Its not a Gazelle, has Mercedes badges and sits on a Beetle pan. Is it a home built bastard or off the shelf kit?

You found that in the desert? That's nuts! In the rust belt it would have been long rotted away.... _________________ '69 Beetle

I love Arizona!
But the thing is actually for sale. It sounds like the guy hauls scrap metal for a living. I suspect its fiberglass and he didnt realize it or had to take it with a larger haul.
Dude is very short on details and didnt even know it was a VW. It was listed as antique car, now listed as kit car. He sent these to me and I was delightfully surprised to see the front beam and swing axle. Im going to look at it and will take more pics. _________________ VW Fact #422: #1 on the 1965 VW dealer service checklist was "Avoid answering complaints with an off-hand: 'All VWs have that trouble".
