Is the stock rear A-Arm Pivot Bushing on a 79 SB Vert a press on, or more importantly a press off bushing? |

Yes and yes. The original were press in (metal sleeved) therefore they required pressing (pounding) out. |

Are you referring to the rear trailing arm?

Yes, that one. I swear that here in Central Florida taking anything to get pressed out they bill you like you need to pay off their Doctorate from Yale. |

You can do the job with a few simple tools. |

Thanks for the info. I plan on replacing them with urethane ones that do not require a press. Great write up. |

I used the Topline black urethane ones. They actually go inside of the metal shell of the original rubber ones. So you remove the center sleeve and rubber of the old ones, push in the topline ones. _________________ Eventually, "we are what we pretend to be.’”

WOW, that means no pressing. How hard is it to remove the center sleeve/rubber from the original ones? |
