I was told to post here. I want to know if anyone knows what these are? I'm assuming they are VW related as my Dad was a VW mechanic from the 60's-90's. He did specialize in the transmissions, maybe some sort of shims to set them up? I have bags of different sizes of these items also.

Actually they appear to be standards for checking your micrometers.
