I have a 2002 Winnebago Vista 21B. It is a 21 foot motorhome built using the 02 Eurovan cab and running gear.
Everything works fine except the O2 sensor code comes and goes.
I have replaced the sensor twice and have the same problem.
The local VW dealership will not even look at it. They say it will not fit on their lift so they will not even look at it on the ground.
Any thoughts?

I take my Sunstar to truck repair shops that have the proper lifts. They have the diagnostic equipment that car shops have so should be able to check out that code popping up.

Modern cars typically have two O2 sensors; one to assist the ECU in setting the aie/fuel mixture, and one after the cat to check emmissions. (I am assuming an ‘02 has borh)

If it runs good, perhaps it’s the second, which means uour cat has reached end of life. A VAGCOM (or maybe a generic code reader) can help you find out.
