I bought a 1981 Puma that have been in storage since 1985. It is a 1981 model. It is a California car (Blue plates) and was last registered in 1985 and then stored. Does this car require smog California test?
Also, what is the correct tire sizes? 185 70 14 in the front and 195 70 14 in the back? It has the orginal rims (see attached)

I don't know CA smog rules but the tire sizes you listed are correct for the Puma, there should be a sticker showing tire size and pressures on the door frame. The wheel you show is a rear wheel, the Puma had different width rims front and back. It is not the original center cap on that rim. |

How did you know it is the rear wheel? Also, I need a front wheel. Mine is damaged and cannot be repaired. Let me know place I can locate used or new one. thanks |

rear wheels are wider than front wheels on a Puma, look closely at this picture to spot the differences, two rear wheels, two front wheels and the spare which is a front. Note that earlier model Pumas have a different style wheel

Hi, I'm from Brazil and I have a puma specialized service.
The OEM sizes from rear tires are 195/70 r14 and fornt 185/70 r14.
The front wheels are 6" and see rear ones 7"
This website (in Portuguese) have the info.

We have here in Brazil a good amount of OEM wheels seeling at market but we also have some shops making brand new wheels (https://www.rmrodas.com.br/) . I have no idea how and how much is the costs for shipping this to us.
I also have a set of OEM rims and tires at my shop from a costumer for sale. |
