Greetings! You got a nice project going on there! I really like the color of your Bug, nice! Mine is same color. You must be highly skilled at metal work!

Thank you for sharing the photographs of your work on the Bug! Keep us posted of the progress.

Looks like fun.

Bug On over there in lovely Italy, home of many great automobiles!

Great work! Keep the photos coming!

I am a lighting nerd, and so I notices a couple of interesting things, especially coming form the USA market. First, the headlight lens appears to have the flutes sideways, almost like the glass came off a Bus, not a Beetle. Second, the small taillights appear to have amber turn signals on top; these may be unique to the Italian market, though I've seen similar in Australian models.

Bella macchina, molto lavoro ma sembra che tu ce l'abbia fatta. Usando il traduttore anche perché i miei nonni parlavano italiano solo quando non volevano che noi sapessimo di cosa stavano parlando. Buona fortuna per il tuo 63

Nice car, lots of work but it seems you have it handled.Using translator also as my grandparents only spoke Italian when they didn't want us to know what they were talking about. Good luck on your 63

Very nice work. Do keep up the metal work and keep all of us updated as it come together.
My grandpa came over here from Sicily last century. What part of Italy are located?

The fluting on that passenger side head light leads me to believe that its from a Bus, if so, they're highly desired.

On your Bug the rightside lense has horizontal lines, left side is vertical They should both be vertical The VW Microbus used very simular headlight, but rotated 90 degrees to that of a Bug, hence the Microbus used lenses that had the lines 90 degrees different than that of a Bug such than when installed on a Bug the lines are vertical.
Th you appear to have one Bug lense and one Bug lense Both of your should have vertical lines.

My guess is the Bus lense is more rare, as many more Bugs were produced than Busses. It maybe be worth more Lira than the Bug lense!

Bug On!
