| I am wondering if the threaded connection coming out of the fuel tank on a 55 Bug and on a 57 Bug is the same thread? OR, if the 2 different style fuel (reserve)valves would interchange? I need to have a fuel tank made out of aluminum and want to use the earlier valve if I can. Thanks! |

As far as I'm aware they never changed the size and pitch of the outlet thread
