No affiliation except I have Hagerty insurance on my motorcycle. As a customer I get their email newsletter. Thought this was interesting and perhaps Tyler is a Samba member here.
Looks like Hagerty insures Vanagons now too. |

Nice little bit about Vanagon Ownership... Funny comment too in the Comments Section from someone who couldn't get Hagerty to insure them.... _________________ '68 Westy- my first VW and vehicle/Bus- long gone.- sold it to a traveling Swiss couple....

I once contacted Hagerty about insuring my Syncro Tristar (one of only 500), they said no for any off-road capable vehicles.
This was a few years ago, don't know if they have changed.
It might also be the same for what they consider an "RV". _________________ Currently:

No way I call them yearly and they have me in the system and say no every time. _________________ 85 Westfalia Weekender

My experience with Hagerty was short lived when I told them there was a propane tank... _________________ Enjoy the ride....

Nope. She's actually Julie Hagerty with only one 'G'. _________________ '84 Vanagon GL 1.9 WBX
