I have dual 40mm "webers".anyone have any ideas on a water tight carb filter/housing/snorkel. So that I am not sucking rain or tire puddle backsplash into my carbs?.i do NOT want to snorkl it into the buggys rear bench/seat area.do they make something or do I need to create something?.thanks Sean....Ps.I have a lot of room between top of dual carbs and buggy body I have a 3inch lift.something LIKE THIS?

Ya - more like $1500 Canadian dollars! Then what if it's too bulky to fit under my Buggy body?

I really like that CSP setup.BUT I think that's a little unreasonable. Idea IT does give me ideas for using turbo covers. Then plumb them into an airbox from a vehicle in the salvage yard or a reasonably priced airbox online...Sean..

if you want to get creative, and like DIY projects, mine started with a chunk of pink styrofoam, a flat air filter for a buick 6 cylinder, and a plastic basket from the dollar store. Add a pile of hours pondering, figuring, sanding and fiberglassing.

the original i built was a little more crude, but used 2.5" oval exhaust tubing and the bottom of a T3 air cleaner. It didn't flow as free as I wanted. So i opted for the fiberglass route. The nice thing about the pink foam is it dissolves with acetone so you build a buck and wrap it with glass and melt the buck out.

What kind of resin are you using? Epoxy or polyester? My experience with polyester is that it melts foam.
