Hi folks

For higher mile 4 cylinder Subaru swap users with header that has brace between header flange and pipe to cat.

Has this brace been prone to cracking or failing?

Was it added to help stabilize the outlet pipe to cat and to help prevent cracks at the cat inlet or outlet or at muffler inlet?

Thanks

Neil.

This is the smallcar version, possibly their latest design. Based on post dates here, earlier versions of that brace appear to be narrower and thinner.
