Scored a VWOA hard top, a couple of significant issues need to be addressed. New window rubber i can handle, questions on the below.

1- missing right side drip rail (anyone have one? $285 for a pair at TTS is steep!)

2 - the right side front latch mount assembly is gone, not just the latch, but the latch mount/plate etc.

What is the underlying assembly? the structure piece that goes over the front window, and that the latch attaches to? I have the left, does a solid metal bar go inside the fiberglass accross the entire front of the roof? Is it only a foot or inches from the latch part way across? Wood structure with a metal front? Without cutting up the fiberglass, i am unsure of the inner structure.

Picture of the issue - (roof is upside down)

Once I cut open the fiberglass I found a rusty mess of what used to be a metal with a 90 degree bend. You could still see the adhesive where it was epoxied in and then the fiberglass was layed over it.
