"All the vacuum lines" are just two.

Rear nipple is for vacuum line to engine

Front nipple is the atmosphere line that leads to the driver's side b-pillar.

Actually one does not even need the Bentley manual at all to work on this area. A person can just bang their forehead into the nose of their bus ten to twelve times at the beltline, and everything they want to know about how to fix their bus will appear in front of their eyes... (as they pass out in pain for those who are stupid enough to try it - had to put that disclaimer in.)

That's part of the thermostat system.

If you remove it, oil will leak out of the hole.

(That's not in the Bentley…)
