Has anyone ever has a VDO drain plate oil temp sender leak on them? My sender wire that hangs below my sender has a constant oil drip at it's low point. The drain plate appears to be fairly dry?
Just wondering if this is common. |

| I only used my drain plate sender for a short time before switching to a galley sender, but what you describe doesn't surprise me. I've had regular warning light senders in various cars leak just like that. The worst offender is my old GMC school bus. I can't seem to get more than a year with one, I think nearby manifold heat damages it. |
