Hello everyone.
I'm new to this site.
I found it while looking for info.
I picked up a sand rail for my girlfriend, and it needs some work.
I had to destroy the brake shoes to get them unstuck.
Looking at parts on j bugs,
There seems to be a lot of different brake set ups.
Is there a way to determine which ones I need?
The motor is a f series. So it's from the sixties. The distributor has I piece points.
And no vac advance.
Going to get points today.
Matched some up at orielli .
They are here today.
Any help on the brakes would be great. |

Welcome to The Samba!
First off, at the very least, we need some sort of description of what the brakes look like or possible year range of the chassis.
Pics would be even better. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Thanks for the welcome.
They are 5 lug.
I found some that look right.
They are for late fifty to 65.
I will try to get some pics.
Right now I'm putting up a portable garage
To keep her in. |
