Wiper arm colors

What years had what color wiper arms? I know early busses were black and late busses were silver but when did they change on what models? I looked at old photos but they seem inconsistent.

I painted my May 64 Kombi wiper arms black but now I am not sure that is correct. Seams commercial buses changed around 63-64 to silver...

I'm not 100% sure on 66-67 but I believe all Commercial buses were black.

'65 Single Cab was still black in the Press photo from the page above:

On that page Bay Windows are black too so I doubt they were go to Silver for 66-67 and then back to black.

Westfalia changed many things while at Wiedenbruck so having silver wipers (especially on 66/67) wouldn't surprise me.

So some commercial busses had silver but looks like the change may have been in 66. Many of the brochures used the same photos for a few years also...
