Differenced between a late 53 and early 55 pan

Nope. The changes happened for the ‘56 model year which started Aug ‘55.

I have one of each and there are a few minor “details” that are different but not much. They both will function the same. Main thing I remember without going to look is there are holes in the rear shock towers on the 55 and the 53 is solid.
