I am trying to change the fill hose, vent hose from the tank....any tutorials? Help? Got a $400 estimate from a mechanic and I think I can replace some myself.

Also go to the hardware store and get some silicone spray to make the rubber hoses slip on easier and get some end cutter pliers to crimp those hose clamps https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hyper-Tough-8-End-Cutti...gL3c_D_BwE

The Thing Shop site has the photos you can follow to install the “gas smell kit”.

TTS (The Thing Shop) is the way to go for the kit, but be advised the ethanol will still eat the new rubber from the inside out. I replaced all my fuel hoses with this kit, as well as the hoses in the engine bay with cloth bound hose about three/four years ago, noticed some cracking at the stretched seams and had to replace them again selectively this summer. BusDepot sells the small fuel hose clamps reasonably inexpensively.

As a side note, try to come up with a list of other, small things you might want from TTS at the same time. They charge actual shipping costs, so you might save yourself a few bucks as opposed to ordering multiple times. Might even be able to JBWeld the visible hose cracks as a meantime measure for cheap. (Never tried it, though. Look for the fuel specific JBWeld at your FLAPS (Friendly Local Auto Parts Store). Then let us know if it works!) Very Happy

Using Gates Barricade 30r14 "low pressure carburetor" hose is the way to go. For the fuel hoses themselves.
