I'm not sure if this is the best forum for this topic, so if you've seen something similar elsewhere, please refer me to it.
I've been looking on eBay, Aliexpress, and Banggood for a copier for the chip in transponder keys. I'd use this not only for VW, but other makes as well.
I've seen a few: some seem to be marketed as vehicle-specific, and some for many makes and models. Some mention "tokens," which I think refers to a specific number of transponders you can copy per unit. They all connect to the OBD2 port. Some are stand-alone and some connect to a smart phone.
The ones I've found have mixed reviews. Does anyone here have experience with these copiers?
