vw electrical system description

I've searched thru many of youtube videos to find a good explanation of how the vw electrical wiring works with the ignition, fuse panel, ect. I just wanted to share this link with any electrical novices like myself.

In youtube do a search for 'malcolm beasley', he's done quite a few videos documenting his convertible 70 bug build, the one with a good explanation is no 42 of 44.

If you can find what's called a Ladder Diagram it will show you how the circuit works. Regular Diagrams are just how the "wiring people" at the factory got the wires 'hooked up'.
