hi. 1970 fastback with a 72 engine. trying to figure out how to best purchase and assemble so my heater boxes and channels will work. i have recently purchased an aftermarket exhaust from cip1
https://www.cip1.ca/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ACC-D-1013
i am going to be purchasing new heater boxes from ISP
i obviously wont have the heat exchangers that come with a stock exhaust. what is the best way to route the piping so everything will work with what i have. also curious on how to hook up the fresh air intake as well if that is possible. i have searched bentley, haynes, etc etc and cant seem to figure out the best way.
thanks
giddy

I used 18" long sections of aircraft ducting from www.AircraftSpruce.com to hook this up. It is supposed to be good for 500 degrees heat.

great custom idea. am i correct to assume that by adding that ducting just adds airflow thru the heater channel. if i was to cap off the fan shroud and top of heater box, would i still get heat but just not as much flow?

No that is not correct. The only source of air for heat is via the fan shroud. If you cap off the fan shroud outlets you will have zero heat.
