BN-4 Heater Value

A buddy has a Thing and wants to sell the heater. He does not like the idea of the gas from the tank running the heater...

Found out he is bringing me the heater in just a few.

Any idea how much these are worth? It will need a new glow plug and pump. Also new fuel lines for sure...

If its complete and working expect somewhere between $400 and $600. The pump doesn't run continually. It works off a signal from the heater, try to hook up the pump to fuel and electric, and just tap the positive wire repeatedly to see if you can get it unstuck. It's pretty common. Check the BN4 troubleshooting sticky to see if you can get it working. Good Luck

Check the classified to see what people are asking. I have seen them at shows for only $100 or so as the demand is pretty low. You will probably get a better price in November verses April as with most things winter related.
