I have a 2002 Eurovan. Somehow there is qwirky wiper Intermittent delay, although there is no way to control it. On newer cars you can control the intermittent delay by twisting the wiper control for longer or shorter dealy. But on the 2002 Eurovan there is no such control, other than put the wiper control in the down position which put it into intermittent mode.
But I can randomly get the wipers into intermittent delays of 2 seconds, 5 seconds and 10 seconds.
Anyone know of the secret to get them into these different modes.
I know if I turn on the rear window wiper and then put the front wipers in intermittent mode it seems to put the front wipers inoto the 5 second delay.
if I put the front wipers in the intermittent mode without the rear window wipers turned on it goes to the 2 second delay.
I am not sure how i get the randomly get the 10 second delay.
Very bizarre! _________________ 2002 Eurovan Weekender in SoCal |

You can set the interval by triggering the relay with a series of wiper arm motions in the manual. It's the typical VAG wiper relay option. _________________ .ssS! |

HOW TO PROGRAM: To operate, turn the wipers on to the intermittent position. Pull back on the stalk briefly, as if you were spraying the washer fluid (just enough to get the wiper to wipe). When the desired length of time has elapsed, tap the stalk again to set the interval. To change the interval simply repeat the process. _________________ 2002 Eurovan Weekender in SoCal |
