Hello fellow enthusiasts and gurus, newbie here needing help getting this blasted aftermarket steering wheel adapter off so that I can access/remove ignition switch for testing and/or replacement. Anyone familiar with this?🙏 I'm close to ripping my hair out as Ive searched for answers in forums and videos and the like, and have found absolutely nothing helpful yet. All that i can really find is reference to how to remove original steering wheel and also other types of aftermarket steering wheels and adapters😭😭😭😭

Any insight would be so very much appreciated. Thanks legends!

I've never seen that set up before. Does it have a snap ring holding the center part? Meaning is it a cover for the big nut that holds the adapter in place? Is there some sort of set screw in the side Of the adapter that holds it in place?
Just asking, as I pointed out I've never seen that set up before.

So turns out this is most likely a self-manufactured adapter "cap" that attached to the actual steering wheel boss. Finally managed to get it off in the end.
Thanks for replies though 👍✌️
