Hi everyone,

I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to a combination of things such as split buses and my home state of Maine and I was wondering if anyone had any cool pictures of their bus up here (at Acadia National Park, southern Maine, Baxter State Park, Nubble Light, Portland Head Light, etc) or even just an old picture or two of a bus with Maine plates.

On second thought, it would be cool even if some of you Northeast guys had pics of buses at the Acton show or any of the other shows up here (I've taken a fair share of my own pics but I always love to see new angles!). Basically anything related to both buses and Maine would be much appreciated Very Happy Thanks!

Here is a bus we saw at the Owls Head Foreign Auto show in Oct 2015 The guy that owned the bus was definitely a character. His bus was named Otto. We saw this bus for sale in Michigan on Thesamba a year ago. Cool bus!

here's a cool one on the opposite side of the 'bus spectrum' so to speak, '65 double-door (I believe the owner is on thesamba? just can't remember who):

HAHA This is not the Maine look. If there were a Maine look, I would say 100% stock. I only know of one lowered bus in the state.

I just read the thread on this bus yesterday. Last word was that it is in a collection in MA. Is that true?

I found our 63 double cab in a junk yard in Maine in 1992 I was able to buy it 23 years later. It is now waiting it's turn. We are hoping to drive it next year:

Savage. Did it come and/or still have the 1-ton/1500 option, or is a base model? Either way, looking forward to that build and hope Maine wasn’t too hard on the ol’ girl!

It’s got the 1 ton/1500 option. This one has a sway bar also, unlike our 15 window. This truck was rode hard and is nasty underneath. We are going to patch the holes and run it when the time comes.
