Anyone else have an idea where one might find a windshield for the Vanagon I’ve tried to contact Safelite, but they won’t come to my rural address and I haven’t heard if they could supply the glass only for sale. In fact, I haven’t heard back at all from them. Any tips would be helpful. Thank you paolo

Safe lite did mine about 5 years ago, very happy with their service. If I were you, I’d drive
the van to where they WILL work on it (or straight to ANY auto glass place) & just get it done…

Cool

Safelite did mine last week.
Why does everybody make it sound so hard to find a windshield for these things?

Hey Corwyn - Just a few months ago Safelite downtown Olympia said they could not get a windshield in for our '88 Westy. Which Safelite did you work with?

Hmmmm . . . that is the one we went to. I suppose it depends on who you talk to. Ended up purchasing one from Chehalis; they delivered, which was nice - just waiting for hubby to install Wink

Thank you for the response!
