Looking to replace this diff cover - are all the 002 covers the same, have come across another one with the same part # 002 517 135A, but the marking in the red circle area is +GF+ where this one is +GF+ S, anybody up with this
Cheers

The 002 side covers are the same.
The 091 has a bigger hole and takes a larger bearing so it can't be used. |

that sure looks like a front pump cover for an automatic to me. 002/091 do not have a diff cover but have threaded bearing retainers for the ring gear bearings _________________

Every 002 differential cover I have seen are the same. They may have a stronger one that I don't know of.
They did this with the 091 differential cover that made them stronger.
Depending on what you are using the transaxle for, upgrading to a 091 differential is a good thing to do. Weddle Industries sells a kit with all the parts to do the upgrade including the side adjuster which fit a 002 transaxle main case. _________________ Joseph
