Like the title states, curious if I should be running a 009 on my stock
1967, 1500cc, stock carb. Currently the 019 needs new points, slight hesitation when driving. Not even sure where to get 019 parts?

If you’re running a 30pict-1 carb you should be running an SVA distributor. I may a correct rebuilt distributor that I’d swap you for the 019 if you’re interested.

019 points are the same as stock 36hp points, which are available from lots of sources.

One source

I don't know if the points will cause hesitation though?

If everything else is stock, I'd figure out which vacuum distributor is correct for 1967 and run that instead.

My screamer has these.

When Ev said 36hp, he's referring to 36hp Bus which has a VJ4BR8 which is purely mechanical and the predecessor of the 019.
