Somewhere along the way one of the barbs on the passenger side overflow tank got busted off and someone capped the rear vent tube on my fuel tank. I think this was contributing to my tank leaking.
Since I have the tank out and have access to everything I did a quick fix on the overflow with a nylon 1/4" fitting I found at the local hardware store.
Simply drilled an 11/32 hole and then pressed and turned the new fitting in. It went in hard and very tight till the threads got a good bite.
Simple, quick, easy. Figured I'd share my solution.
