We work around the existing interior and have drilled no holes, so far. All the cubbies and access panels are accessible. There is little wiring to do other than a couple of USB ports.
Maybe we’re done with this edge?

Looks good for your first cabinet making project. The rounded plastic corners in the small isle-way are perfect for the job! _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Thank you—we removed the modules to tweak the door gaps, seal edges, and lay the veneer. Maybe close to finished. |

We’re about ready to see how this mess goes down the road.

The build is done. Seven hundred miles home and the cabinetry did not squeak. I await the upholsterer to make the cushions.
We camped at Jordan Lake to put it through the test and it was good. I enjoyed not being on my knees to get to the underseat cabinet. We enjoyed the access to our gear from the outside and not packing stuff in bags and crates to store it. If it ends up a cluttered mess it’s my fault.
We were eager to see other campers’ reactions and were surprised at the number of people who said that they wanted to move from sleeping in a tent to sleeping in a van, but they did not want the loaded campers, RVs, and camper vans on the market.
We’re gearing up for a trip across Canada via the TCH to Vancouver. We invite any one along the way for a beer or coffee, and will accept invitations to meet local folks as well.
I’m burned out creatively and my inspiration to take photos is low. If anyone wants to see anything specific closer tell me.
Thanks, you guys. |

Craig,
I was wondering where you slept with that cabinet arrangement and then realized you will always be in the high bunk. The one time I travelled with a pop-top Westy, we always slept in the lower bed.
Is your Canada trip in progress? |

Yeah, We’re in western Ontario. We’re happy with the result of our work after a week on the road.
