Sure enough, the only references I could find to a true left and right lens is in the red/ white with no mention of amber. |
Curious about this. Can you post up your references? |
This thread and what notchboy linked to. |
Not doubting they exist, we've seen them. I'm just wondering where VW references or lists this part. |
Nope and I pick on Pedro most chances I get |

I still think its all fishy. In that they were made long after T3 production ended - into the stamped versions. Sold as side markers for other cars - generic. Now ISP has bang on versions.
Why the fuck all are there so many of one side?
And to answer the question - if I had a set, Id be all on board? Um duh - YES.
Oh and the numbers - they aren't PN#s they are DOT numbers and hieroglyphics for the most part from what Ive seen. _________________

Here is the problem I have. Those look like repops to me. I have several lefts just like that with the distorted fat numbers. If they are not repops and came in a Hela package then I think they are later versions sold as generic side markers.
I also have an older used one with the same numbers but a cleaner cast.
Just some cake for after mi carne asada

Hello 1500 Club!
News from #2747 - the restoration will be finished soon.
I am reassebling the car.
I own the car nearly 30 years and the day I ride the car for the first time will come.
The car had been done very thoroughly and there was more work than I supposed. But the basis was very good, even though there was some bodywork. The car had been repainted outside up to the window area and the Roof. The interior is complete and in best shape.
Regards: Johannes

WOW, very cool pics of the early cars. That spare tire bracket later on gets flipped so the flat side is out.
The rear under seat heat ducting is very different as well. Note the lack of heater outlets in the rear "kick" panels. I'm guessing the rear seat lower cushion has a cut out for that heat outlet duct.
Very nice work, and a very nice car. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
