Does anyone know what carburetor this might be? They’re on my ‘61 Panel. Are they any good? Reliable? Was thinking about going to a single carb.
Thanks

Kadrons.
They usually need the throttle bodies rebushed, but after that they are pretty bullet proof and you get more HP than a single. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Absolutely Kardons. It looks like an 80's engine with those carbs matched to what looks like a German 009. It was a nice running combo back then when those carbs and distributor were new.
As mentioned already, the Kardon's throttle shafts were known to wear quickly. But, after having them rebushed, the carbs can work great again.
I personally wouldn't run that combo with a stock muffler though. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]
