stumbled across this web-page showing a brochure for camping kit to fit your oval beetle back in the day. note the folding gear stick, the mosquito net for the door windows and the espresso machine - ahh simple pleasures...

... lotta' cool camping items for the oval - can't be comfortable for a restful night though - I'll go for a tent or better yet a Westy.

We get Beetles camping at our BNNTA camping weekend ( www.bnnta.com ) every year but their owners generally camp in tents and not inside their Beetles so much. I admit it would be cool to see what you showed!
I dig that fold down water basin/hanging water bag contraption and the tiny coffee pot on the dash!
