This picture is from a current ad in the classifieds (Literature). I am familiar with the older models, but the later plastic dash models are out of my wheelhouse. Still... that GM-looking steering wheel looks SO out of place! Teak dash? And a late model with a separate gas gauge, not one merged into the speedo? Huh?

That's a brazilian '70s dashboard. Notice also the floor mounted high beam switch and early type steering lock. I don't know what country the brochure is from but a number of developing conuntries received brazilian-made bugs or assembled them locally. _________________ cars:
