I have a 1975 Brasilia and cannot seem to find a matching tank to replace this one. I bought a Type 1 but it's too deep. Also note the positions of the inlets and vent pipes.
What did this fuel tank come from?

Hello !
This is not the VW Brasilia fuel tank, this is for VW Variant and TL. It is slighty different from the Brazilian version.
VW Brasilia has 2 different fuel tanks: one until 1977 and the other for 1978 to 1981. Which year is yours ?

It's a 1975.
I'll post some pictures soon, I just got it. The tank I took out is a real mess! |

This is correct tank for 1975 Brasilia.
Is very simillar but not the same you have.

| That wouldn't work on mine because the inlet/fuel tank door is on the other side of the car. |

Send me a photo of your car!
Anyway if is Variant fuel tank it is easy to get one here.
