FWIW: "Halon" is no longer supported for fire suppression.
"Halotron" is the new super-great alternative...google if you like.

Cool Cool Cool

Blazecut is heptafluoropropane (HFC227ea) not "Halon" (Bromochlorodifluoromethane, BFC, Halon 1211). Halon 1211 is no longer used in fire extinguishers. production of fire extinguishers with Halon 1211 was to cease in 2009.

Bromotrifluoromethane (Halon 1301) is used in the aviation industry as fire suppression (engines, cargo holds).

both Halon 1211 and Halon 1301 deplete the ozone layer. Unlike Halon 1211, Halon 1301 is toxic to humans.

I use the term Halon generically.

If I were to take a guess, my guess would be that the vast majority of the population haven't a clues what an "A" "B" "C" fire is or what is inside od those red bottles that hang in every public building in the Nation.

Water, CO2, Halon....... whatever....... no idea and they probably don't care either.

Further..... nor do they have a clue how to use that red bottle!
