Hi all,
I’ve been having lots of trouble trying to keep the clock running in my ghia. I think I’ve traced it to one of the cogs having a worn out spindle making it very sloppy and thus not meshing with the next cog. I now have a Volvo clock with what appears to be the same Kienzle movement which I was hoping to swap over completely or take parts from. However, can’t seem to get the silver knob (the bit you adjust the time with) off the shaft off my Ghia clock so that I can remove the glass to take out the two screws on the clock face. It appears to have a tiny pin through the end at 90 degrees to the shaft. Does anyone have any ideas how it is done? Or is there another way of swapping the clock movements over?

Thanks
