Admin cleanup of OT ridiculousness. This is obviously not intended to be a debate the merits of Christmas thread.

Powder coat on wheels especially stock is difficult sometimes and using your supplied pic look closely where the two pieces come together. Chances are you’ll see rust within a few months. I like powder coat for other applications though.

I clicked on that link yesterday. Now, wherever I go on the Interwebs, Eastwood ads keep popping up. Evil or Very Mad

I think I recognize that squareback, as I may have once owned it. Did you buy it from Paul?

I have had many wheels powder coated. No real issues with rust at the seams. Except for wheels exposed to road salt. That shit is on another level.

The Square has been in Lethbridge Alberta most of it's life, I even have a Picture with the original owner, he stops by the shows to gab sometimes and share stories

Oddly enough, this sounds familiar. I may have asked you the same thing before.

If I can find some photos of my old car, I will post them for you to see. The resemblance is uncanny.

EDIT: not great quality, but here it is right before I bought it from my friend Eric (Long-roofs)

Now you can see why I thought they were one and the same.

It's a 67. I sold it to a guy from Calgary in the summer/fall of 2005.

The patina pattern sure looks like the one in the background.

Absolutely the same car. That is really cool.

Does Paul still own it? I still have the Toyota pickup I bought with the proceeds. Laughing
