It’s just a little RV resort at the local casino, Northern Quest. It’s quite a nice little RV park and they comp our stays.

Nice! Where did you go? My wife and I camped at Deception Pass back in February and we have done a couple camps a month here locally in BC. _________________ *******************************

Installed a diesel heater under the cabinet, the old Coleman furnace has seen better days so we updated the heater.
Took it out for the first camping trip of the year

Yes usually very quit at night they have rangers and camp host that keep things enforced. It’s a great location with a nice beach and a beautiful hike through a cedar grove past a waterfall to a cabin up top. |
Nice! We've camped down around Mt Baker a few times, a few years in a row out on Whidbey Island, tried a few State Parks between Blaine and Seattle on our way to Oregon when the kids were younger, and a few places along the Columbia River in SE WA and on our way back up through Yakima. Would love to get down to Roosevelt Park Rec Area along the Columbia River again this summer but I don't think it's in the cards this year. |
Yes thats where we usually end up on Roosevelt along the columbia river the campgrounds and beaches are very nice. Id recommend camping just outside of Quincy at Frenchman Coulee, its dry camping with no services but its all free and specatular views if you can get a spot on the canyon of the gorge.

Great, thanks for the heads up on Frenchman Coulee and for sharing the link. _________________ *******************************

Wow, those sites are close together. Do most people observe quiet hours or is it a free for all, all night and you need ear plugs? _________________ *******************************

This spot is cramped and the sites are close but it holds lots of memories from when we were kids. We used to camp here almost all summer every year growing up.

Nice sized shop! You could do a lot of work in there. It must be handy in the Winter too. Have you done your trip up to BC and Alberta yet, or sometime this summer? _________________ *******************************

Day in the shop, such a nice spot to work on the bus during the heat of the summer. The Doosan orange almost matches the bus paint.

Hah yea I had to adjust the shifter more times than I could count, when we got it back from the shop it was fine but every now and then we couldnt hit 3-2 downshift or get it into 1st. We finally ended up cutting a hole so if it ever happened in rush hour traffic again I could loosten the 13mm up just enough to hit the gear and get out of the way without pulling off to the side of the road and pulling the whole floormat out to access the two bolts and shift plate.
With the new shifter it has no issues with any of the gears and doesnt require realligning the shift plate every few years anymore. _________________ 1979 VW BUS
