I love that '70s era stuff. That bubble window would be totally trick to drop in the sunroof hole.
Edit: Oops. It requires a '70s hack job on a hardtop car.

I hate that somehow I threw away dozens of those catalogs and saved not a single one for my collection. I look at every estate sale.

There was a guy with a later (maybe 69?) Bug with those on it. Most classmates who didn't know better were fooled into thinking they were real wheels, not covers. He also added the fart tailpipes that made more noise but didn't make it any faster.
I enjoyed racing him in my mostly stock '67 (bored to 1600) because he never tuned it up and it ran shitty so I beat him regularly.
But the girls liked his car better! |
