There are so many options… based on your good experience, what electric fuel pump is recommended to replace the original mechanical pump? I would appreciate if you could share me links or options, thank you! [/u]

I think I bought the last Carter P60504 Fuel pump available anywhere a few years ago.
It has been superseded Carter P90091,

It still delivers 3.5PSI. _________________ I have learned over the years.

I use the Carter P90091 along with a fuel pump controller from Revolution Electronics.
You'll definitely want a fuel pump controller or some other type of relay for safety reasons. _________________ 1968 Beetle |

I use a small Holley brand fuel pump. Might be the mighty might model, not really sure. Bought it off the shelf at O'Reilly auto parts. It's mounted to just bellow the fuel tank behind passenger front tire. I use a pressure regulator in the engine compartment to make sure I'm not running more than 3 psi for my carb. _________________ 1974 Standard - Jennie's Bug "Hanz"

A few years back I had picked up an AC Delco pump for my '29 Plymouth. I don't remember what model it was but it worked great. It was a 6 volt anyway, so that probably doesn't help you any... _________________ "Knowledge is Good" - Faber College |

My engine case came from a FI engine, so it had no provision for the mechanical pump, and i had to go with an electric pump.
I went with the Carter pump mentioned by 67rustavenger.
Installed in the front, under the gas tank. It feeds dual 34 epc's, no issues since I installed it 2 years ago. |
