Thought you all might enjoy this story. I recently traveled to north of Sioux Falls, South Dakota to pick up this 66 21 Window with SO 42 Camper Interior. I purchased her from the second owner that had bought the bus in 1982. At some point in the late 80s the prior owner painted the bus camo with spray paint covering and preserving the OG Lotus White paint until I came along 30 years later! The SO 42 interior was in the bus when the prior owner bought it in 1982
..She runs and drives very well with her OG motor and transmission. The pics below will tell the story thus far!

| Thanks for all the positive feedback, I was fortunate enough to see the bus on FB when the family posted it looking for a fair value....of course all of the FB appraisers showed up with all of their assessments....I formed a good relationship with the family and was able to make a deal that was fair for both of us.....paid much more than I wanted to but I knew it was a special bus and hoped the paint would be in good shape underneath....going to wet sand and buff it soon |

Wow! This is truly an amazing find. The OG paint looks good too. Good luck with your new toy. I've always wanted an OG paint bus.

21 windows always look great in white. The camo look was kinda cool too. I haven't seen that before on a 21 window.

| I agree Lotus White 21 window buses are really unique.....unfortunately it's not in the cards for me to keep her so she will be up for sale eventually once I'm done taking her as far as I can...... |

| Thanks, the interior is very interesting......in the bus since at least 82' panels are screwed to the bus with the correct screws and washers.....has the correct sub-floor with metal plate for the table leg....the spice rack and little table are missing from the cargo doors...... |

I believe it codes out to a walk thru deluxe 21 window
.but the camper interior is a bit of a mystery

| whoever put that so42 interior went to a lot of work including what appears the correct era Leviton electrical plug above the rear drivers tail light.. interesting |
