I think the fix for a sagging ceiling increasing the tension on the rafter poles. If they don't hold tension then they probably need to be replaced ($17 a pole on amazon - just make sure you get the right pole because rafter poles are different from the ground poles)

The Arm poles are in good shape and not old. Maybe the position of the arm hooks are not in the right position to have uniform distribution of the ceiling fabric?
I don't know! I'll have to dig the room out of storage and have a look at how its constructed, maybe one or more are longer than the others?

Are you confirming that yours does not sag at all? TY

I do have the add a room and have not experienced the sag. I forgot there is a ceiling on the AAR. That being said I think the pole tension does not matter - my mistake.

I'm not sure what your options are! I'll take a look next time I set mine up.

Took the room out of the bag to measure the hook/clips straps. They are all 1 3/8", so I can rule them out for now.
After looking at my picture, I noticed that the Arm on the right maybe inserted in the inner hole of the awning end.

Too much snow on the ground to attach it and see if the ceiling will sag if the Arms are inserted into the outer holes. Will have to wait until Spring.

In case it wasn't mentioned? The room weighs 16#'s all stuffed in its bag.

Got the RMW brackets mounted. I think they will give me the height I need to raise the awning and ARB room ceiling so my head doesn't touch.

I have the arb awning and room and it is one of my favorite additions to our camping setup. I know what you mean about the floor and trying to keep it clean and clean up before stowing the room back in the stuff sack. We use one of these sand free mats underneath the room and sometimes out in front of the room as a place to take off our shoes and to store some gear. Dirt and sand just fall through the mat and its great for creating and keeping a clean area.

Thanks for the photo. I suspected it wasn’t a “seal” but good to know there is material there to work with. I suppose a slider bug screen could be used as secondary defenses if your in an area thick with bugs.

I’ll have to look into the deluxe version - I like the idea of all screens.

Pick up several packages of bar magnets, Home Depot usually has a display of them in the hardware area.

Once the tent is up, pull the fabric taut as you place magnets through the fabric onto the Van.

On my camping trips using the tent.i have found that the higher u mount the arb awning onto your van it raises the floor some which makes it difficult to align all the corners straight.Rhino tape will patch those holes on the floor.
Its also nice to have 1 or 2 cargo boxes on the roof so the van is free of clutter.
telescoping ladder works wonders on easlliy getting to them.Stowing the ladder on the rails from passenger side to drivers side below tent, with a bungie,i have never had a problem with it moving.
