|
|
I just got my Eurovan Camper out of my garage after about 8 years. It's going to the mechanic next week for a fluid replacement before startup. I've been working on the RV cabin, but am having some electrical issues.
First, I hooked up the landline to power and the interior lights started working as did the fridge when hooked up to the landline. The rear lights over the bed didn't light up.
I installed an RV battery and the water pump immediately came on. The switch was flipped, so I flipped it again and it turned off. But, the kitchen lights that worked on the landline aren't working on the battery. As well, the lights over the bed still aren't working. Most importantly, the levels indicator panel isn't lighting up.
The camper did have some mice in it when I cleaned it out, so I'm going to have to check the wires, but does anyone know where to start?
I'll probably pull the fridge first, but if the lights over the bed aren't working, the issue is probably before the levels indicator panel.
Any help would be appreciated and will probably save me some time. |

Also forgot that the sink is getting power, but the LP gas alarm isn't. (I may have the fuse removed from the LP gas alarm) |

I discovered my issue, but first [face palm].
The battery was hooked up backwards. I only had 3 minutes wirth it before I went to work. I tried reversing them, but for some reaon it didn't work. Maybe because shore power was hooked up.
I went home and reversed one more time and removed the shore power. All working! Yay!
Thanks for the diagrams, though. I wanted them! |
